Indiana head football coach Tom Allen gave an update on some key injuries and recoveries as well as some roster updates heading into Fall Camp on Thursday. Below are his comments on his roster for 2023:

WR Cam Camper

“Cam is doing really well. And I would say, you know, very close to being where it needs to be, you know, to be completely cleared to play and fully expecting them to play in the opener, you know, I think you know, maybe a pitch count type mindset for sure. But at the same time, I feel very confident that he will be playing in game number one, so very excited about that. He had a really, really good summer.”

QB Dexter Williams

“Dexter is continuing to do a great job rehabbing as an important evaluations this week to go through and see exactly where he is, you know, from from those that perform the surgery. So excited to hear back from that but obviously, he will not be available early in the season.”

OL Matthew Bedford

“Matt Bedford coming back from ACL, he's been 100% Good. His was obviously early in the season. So he was able to recover from that completely and, and has been working extremely hard.”

Status of Transfer JoJo Johnson

“We have one player that's not here yet JoJo Johnson will be here to finish up his classes, and should be here with us soon. And so but other than that, feel like that, you know, the guys on our team, the ones that have been here, they'll be the ones that we're going to be going with and excited about the roster.”
