The 2021 offseason will be a wild one around college football as teams await the decisions of every single player on their roster on whether or not they will return for the 2021 season. Due to the pandemic all football players were granted a free year of eligibility and have the option of returning. The Hoosiers got one of those decisions on Tuesday as senior defensive lineman Michael Ziemba has decided to return for a fifth year.

Ziemba, the 2020 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner, has had a productive four years in Bloomington. He has played in 43 games with 10 starts. He has 54 career tackles (33 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss, one sack and two forced fumbles. Ziemba figures again to be a major part of the Hoosier defensive line rotation in 2021.

Ziemba is the latest of many Hoosiers that have to make a decision on their futures Yesterday, Tramar Reece had entered the Transfer Portal. Stay tuned as Hoosier Huddle will keep you posted as decisions are made.
