Hoosiers Secure Pledge From Former Wisconsin OL Trey Wedig

The Hoosiers bolstered their offensive line late Saturday night with the commitment of former Wisconsin offensive lineman Trey Wedig from the transfer portal.
Wedig was a redshirt junior in 2023 and has one year of eligibility remaining. He has played in 34 career games and made eight starts. After starting eight games in 2022, Wedig was a rotation player under the new staff in 2023. He has played both guard positions and made five starts at right tackle, which is where he figures to play for IU.
The Hoosiers have lost three of their five starting offensive lineman from the 2023 season, however are still waiting on word from starting center Zach Carpenter who is currently in the portal.
