Hoosiers Land 4-Star Florida Defensive Back Chris McCorkle

The Indiana Hoosiers continue to add to their 2025 high school recruiting class with the addition of four-star defensive back Chris McCorkle III. The Sarasota, Florida native chose the Hoosiers over offers from Florida State, Florida and 25 other offers. He is listed at 6’1” and 173 pounds by 247Sports.

McCorkle is a tremendous athlete as he plays both ways for Cardinal Mooney High School. According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, McCorkle made nine interceptions and had 15 PBUs as a junior. He has great hands and is a go to play on offense and can change games on defense with interceptions.

The Hoosiers 2025 class now has eight members is creeping up the rankings from 247Sports. With the addition of McCorkle III the Hoosiers sit at 26th nationally.
