The early signing period opens on Wednesday and commitments are starting to come in for frequently. On Sunday evening the Hoosiers received a commitment from safety prospect Dontrae Henderson.
Henderson is familiar with Curt Cignetti and his staff as a James Madison commitment. He is a 6’1” 170 pound prospect that is rated as a three-star by 247Sports. He held 16 total offers, but IU was his only Power Five offer. He played his high school football for Julius L. Chambers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
IU’s high school recruiting class stands at 16 commitments as of publishing.
