Hoosiers Find Themselves Ranked Ninth in PenultimateCollege Football Playoff Rankings

The Indiana Hoosiers 11-1 (8-1) finished the regular season with a resounding 66-0 win over Purdue in the Old Oaken Bucket Game. The Hoosiers were ranked ninth in both the AP and Coaches polls, up one spot from last week.

In the second to last CFP rankings the Hoosiers came in at number Nine.

While the Hoosiers are ranked 9th, IU would be the 10th seed if the CFP started tomorrow.

The seeds for the CFP rankings are as follows:

1. Oregon

2. Texas

3. SMU

4. Boise State

5. Penn State

6. Notre Dame

7. Georgia

8. Ohio State

9. Tennessee

10. Indiana

11. Alabama

12. Arizona State

The Hoosiers’ regular season is done and they will see how the conference championships shake out on Saturday before seeing their final CFP ranking on Sunday.
