Hoosiers Bulk up the Running Back Room with UNC Transfer Elijah Green

The roster construction continues under the watchful eye of foreman Curt Cignetti as IU hits the portal for the third time on Thursday night and land former North Carolina running back Elijah Green.

Green played four season with the Tar Heels with his most productive season coming in 2022 when he ran for 558 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games. He only appeared in five games last year.

The Hoosiers have rebuilt the running back room to the point where it would not be a surprise to see some players test the transfer waters in the next portal window.
