The Indiana Hoosiers received a late addition during the winter transfer portal window on Tuesday afternoon as they added former NC State safety Devan Boykin.

Boykin missed the 2024 season after suffering a knee injury during the Wolfpack’s preparations for the 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl. During his career at NC State, Boykin played in 45 games and has 117 career tackles. Boykin will be a redshirt senior and has four career interceptions and 11 passes defensed. He was an All-ACC Honorable Mention after the 2023 season.

Boykin is likely to start at one of the safety positions, while Louis Moore will probably start at the rover position.
