Countdown to 2020 IUFB Kickoff: 55 Days Part II (Luke Lane)

With only 55 days until the Hoosiers start the season time is winding down and for now the countdown marches on.  Today we profile redshirt freshman offensive lineman Luke Lane as the second part of our Day 55. 

Name - Luke Lane 

Position - Offensive Lineman 

Year/Hometown - Redshirt Freshman from Lebanon, Ohio. 

Height - 6’3” 

Weight - 315 pounds

Luke Lane hails from the football state itself, Ohio. The 4 year varsity member was a hometown hero  to Lebanon High School’s football team. He led the way to their first playoff appearance in 15 years. Lane didn’t stop there. He was first team all-conference selection before joining the Hoosiers during spring practice last year. 

In his first year at IU Lane was named the Scout team player of the week against Penn State.  Lane has potential to make a huge impact on the 2020 season. Lane can impact the Hoosiers on the practice field in 2020 and hopefully be rewarded with playing time on Saturdays.
