The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff is almost halfway complete. Just 53 days remain until the Hoosiers kickoff the 2019 season in Indianapolis against the Ball State Cardinals. Today we will highlight defensive lineman Stephen Walker.

Stephen Walker (Freshman)

Height: 6’3”

Weight: 275 Pounds

Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position: Defensive Lineman

Stephen Walker joins the Indiana program as a walk on from Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis.  During the 2018 season, the Braves finished with a 10-3 record before falling in the Regional championship to West Lafayette. Walker will join the defensive line and hope to have a similar success story to Gavin Everett, who joined the program as a walk on and eventually earned a scholarship and became an every week starter in 2018.
