#40 – Cam Wilson (Redshirt Sophomore)

Height: 6’1” 

Weight: 195 Pounds

Hometown: Columbus, Indiana

Position: Wide Receiver 

Cam Wilson came to Bloomington from Illinois State University. The young wide receiver transferred after his redshirt season at ISU, and then had to sit out for all of 2018 due to the NCAA’s transfer rules. He did earn himself scout team player of the week honors against Maryland. Wilson is currently on the roster as a walk-on. He played his high school football at Columbus East High School in Columbus, IN. Now, Wilson has a chance to crack the WR rotation for his home-state school.

Wilson enjoyed a prolific high school career where he finished with 72 receptions for over 2,000 yards and 27 total touchdowns. The Hoosiers hope Wilson can make a similar impact in 2019. Wilson can make a name for himself this season as a redshirt sophomore.
