Of course a prospect would commit as I am sitting in a New York City cab in traffic from JFK airport with my phone hanging on for dear life with 13 percent battery. The Indiana Hoosiers have their quarterback of the future with the commitment of Austin King on Monday afternoon. King makes it five commitments for head coach Kevin Wilson in the last 48 hours and has upped the class to 15 members. King is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports’ Composited rankings and is listed as the 28th best pro-style quarterback in the nation. King, who hails from Alpharetta, Ga, de-committed from North Carolina State Sunday gives the Hoosiers what they needed the most, a true quarterback prospect for the future. King had offers from South Florida, West Virginia, Harvard, and Yale along with a handful of other schools. King cites having run a similar offense in high school and that he is very interested in the Kelley School of Business. King’s commitment bumps the Hoosiers up to 11th in the conference and 55th nationally.
