Boom! Hoosiers Land 4-Star Defensive Tackle Juan Harris

Usually Big Ten Media Day provides a respite in the recruiting world, however Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson and his staff reeled in a big fish securing the commitment of four-star defensive tackle Juan Harris out of Wisconsin. Harris is 6'4" and listed at 368 pounds and is ranked as the 283rd player in the country and the second best player in Wisconsin. Harris had committed than de-committed from Iowa three separate times. Harris announced his commitment via twitter on Monday night. 

Harris is the 10th member of the 2017 Hoosier recruiting class and keeps the Hoosiers at 11th in the Big Ten and raises them to 60th in the nation. Harris is the eighth recruit from the defensive side of the ball in this class. Harris holds 20 offers including ones from the biggest programs in the country in Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee.

Harris was recruited to IU by defensive line coach Mark Hagen. Harris is found of Hagen and gave him his due on Twitter Monday evening. "Big shout out to coach Hagen for sticking with from the beginning of the process. Thanks Coach!! #HoosierArmy17"
