The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff is underway! For the 100 days leading up to kickoff, we at Hoosier Huddle will feature every player from the 2024 roster in anticipation of Indiana’s first game of the season against Florida International University. Today, we will highlight a newcomer to the Hoosiers, but a player with a lot of college experience, Tyler Stephens.

Position: Offensive Line
Curt Cignetti and his staff brought a number of James Madison transfers over, and one of the best is expected to be offensive lineman Tyler Stephens. Stephens has been a do-it-all guy for Cignetti throughout his college career, nabbing 31 starts in 36 career appearances at left tackle, right tackle, and left guard. With the Hoosiers, he projects to line up at an interior guard position; his experience and size should make him a great addition.
"I think we’ve got seven or eight offensive linemen we feel good about, developed a few of them," Curt Cignetti said at Indiana’s annual fundraising event at Huber’s Orchard and Winery last week.
Stephens is coming off a great season with the Dukes in which he started all 13 games and was named second-team All-Sun Belt. Now it’s all about how his game translates to the Big Ten level.
