Written By Evan Alvarez

Welcome back to the 2024 Hoosier Huddle Countdown! From now until Indiana’s opening day against the FIU Golden Panthers, the Hoosier Huddle staff will feature every player on the Hoosiers football roster for 2024. Today, the featured player as we are 59 days and look at Felix Meeks.

#59 – Felix Meeks

Height: 6’ 3”

Weight: 287 pounds

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

High School: Crown Point High School

Class/Position: Senior / Defensive Line

Previous Schools: Indiana Wesleyan University and Purdue University

Felix Meeks joins the Hoosiers after debuting just two hours up the road with the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats of NAIA. While there, Meeks helped the Wildcats reach the NAIA semifinals in 2022 after an 11-2 season where they finished first in their conference, won a conference title, and were the 5th ranked team in the country.

IUhoosiers.com lists Meeks as also previously attending Purdue University. However, Meeks comes to their rival school in Bloomington and enters the 2024 season with a role of beefing up the defensive line depth. Meeks’ experience in the college football landscape along with playing championship level football at Indiana Wesleyan will no doubt be an asset to this ever important position group room.

Meeks will look to push Indiana’s defensive lineman with hard work through practice sessions and also provide extremely valuable scout team looks to keep Indiana’s offensive line sharp entering each game.

The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff continues with day 58 tomorrow.
