2021 Countdown to Kickoff: 55 Days (Luke Lane)

It’s double nickel day at Hoosier Huddle as we are now 55 days away from the kickoff of the 2021 season. Today, we double dip in the trenches are we take a look at defensive lineman C.J. Person and offensive lineman Luke Lane.

Luke Lane (Redshirt Sophomore)

Hometown: Lebanon, Ohio

Height: 6’3”

Weight: 322 Pounds

Position: OL

With the Hoosier Huddle 100 day countdown fully in gear, let’s take a look at one of the more promising incoming offensive linemen that will undoubtedly get to compete for playing time this year.

Luke Lane, out of Lebanon, Ohio is poised to make his name known for the Hoosiers. After redshirting the 2019 season as a walk-on, and earning scout team player of the week once that same year, Lane will enter into a large group of offensive linemen vying for a position in the rotation. Lane excelled off the field as he was named an Academic All-Big Ten selection.

In high school, Lane led the team to their first playoff appearance in 15 years, cementing his place as a great at his alma mater.
