Ty Wise - Redshirt Freshman

Height: 6’2’’

Weight: 226 pounds

Hometown: Carmel, Indiana

Position: LB

Hailing from Carmel, Indiana, Ty Wise hasn’t seen much playing time so far for the Hoosiers. His only appearance came in the Outback Bowl against Ole Miss, but that doesn’t change the fact that Tom Allen thinks he can be a great asset to the team. "He's another one who has done some good things," Allen said. "We really think (Wise and Bonds) have a good chance to be great players for us.”

Wise’s high school career at Carmel also cannot be understated. 2019 Mr. Football finalist, Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) position award winner, IFCA Top 50 selection as a senior, two-time all-state honoree, and also named to the 2019 IndyStar Super Team are just a few of his accomplishments at Carmel HS. 

With this season looming, Wise should look to get some more valuable playing time, especially as he gets older and more experienced.
