Brandon Knight was a force for the Hoosiers. From Noblesville High School in Indiana, Knight was one of the best offensive linemen in the state coming into college. Knight chose the Hoosiers and joined the program in 2015. As a true freshman he played 11 games at tackle and tight end. Knight made his impact felt as he was named IU’s Newcomer of the Year. He was also an honorable mention for BTN.com’s All-Freshman team.

As a sophomore, Knight started in six games and played in eight before a knee injury ended his season. Knight bounced right back and appeared in 10 games with eight starts at right tackle his junior year. Indiana finished third in the Big Ten in offense and Knight’s performance was a major part of that. Knight finished his career with a bang. He started in all 12 games at right tackle his senior season. He allowed just three sacks in over 900 snaps. Knight was recognized as an honorable mention for the All-Big Ten team by coaches and media members.

At the NFL combine, Knight measured well. He weighed in at 314 pounds, standing 6-foot-4. His hand measured ten inches even and his wingspan was good for over 81 inches. Knight provided the Hoosiers with remarkable stability over the years. Now he hopes to forge a career in the NFL. IU fans will miss his play in the trenches, but it will be fun to root for Brandon Knight as he hopes to get drafted in April.
