It was a huge weekend for Tom Allen and the Hoosiers as they announced plans to allow full capacity at football games this fall and also gained commitment from four-star cornerback Trevell Mullen and three-star linebacker Isaiah Jones. LEO: Hoosiers Land Commitment from Top Cornerback Prospect Trevell Mullen

Trevell Mullen, a 4-star rated priority recruit in the 2022 class for Tom Allen and his staff, pledged his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers today. Trevell is the younger brother of Clemson-turned-Las Vegas Raiders cornerback TrayvonMullen and first-team All American Tiawan Mullen, who as Hoosier fans know is currently on the Indiana roster. Trevell is ranked 181st in the class of 2022 and the 22nd best cornerback in the nation by 247Sports Composite. Mullen held 12 total offers from the likes of Penn State, Miami, West Virginia, Syracuse,and Auburn, among others, but ultimately decided to follow in Tiawan’s footsteps and head to Bloomington.

Two More Charged in Chris Beaty Murder Case

Two more individuals have been indicted in the tragic murder of former IU football player and local businessman Chris Beaty.

On June 17, a grand jury indicted Alijah Jones and NakeyahShields on charges of felony murder, five counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery. Both individuals were arrested on Thursday. They join Marcus Anderson as individuals charged with the May 30, 2020 murder of the man known as “Mr. Indianapolis”.
