We take a look at the state of the Indiana football recruiting class for 2018 as the early signing period nears and high school playoffs draw to a close.

Ronnie Walker- This Hopewell, Virginia native finally broke the 1K mark on the ground, as the RB has also accounted for 12 touchdowns. His team is still playing as Hopewell takes on Phoebus in their playoff matchup. Walker plans to sign early next month to make becoming a Hoosier official.

James Head- No stats are available for James, but his Southridge (FL) team has moved to 6-3 going into this weekends game against Miami. Head, the highest rated defensive end for the Hoosiers, plans on signing December 20th.

Aidan Rafferty- Rafferty's Gonzaga out of Washington, D.C., has moved to 8-3 and takes on rival St. John's once again for the 2nd time in 3 weeks in their playoff matchup. Aidan is ranked 650 in the 247 composite as a OT.

Reese Taylor- The hardware nominations aside, Ben Davis and Indiana's own has led his team to the 6A state title game against Avon. A candidate for Mr. Football in IN, as well as National Player of the year has 45 touchdowns on the year. Playing QB this year, his position isn't set in stone as a Hoosier yet.

Madison Norris- Hamilton Southeastern had a rough year on the field and their season has ended after a 3-7 record to finish the year. Norris is still a highly regarded defensive end and will be looked upon to make a big impact once he hits Bloomington.

Aaron Casey- Casey, a DB for Alexander(GA) finished the year with 100 tackles as well as 5 picks for his team as they finished the year with a 6-5 record.

Gavin McCabe- McCabe, teammate of T.J Ivy for Marist(IL) has enjoyed a pretty good year so far. His team is 11-1 heading into their tilt with Curie. With 78 tackles and 5 sacks on the year, McCabe will try to make a immediate impact in the second part of the Hoosiers front seven.

Miles Marshall- Marshall had set a goal to get to 1K receiving yards and the speedy wide out is 2 yards away heading into his matchup with Mountain View. His 14 receiving touchdowns are also nice and has helped largely into Parkview(GA) 8-3 record. Marshall plans to sign in December as well.

Cam Jones- Jones, St. Benedict of Auburndale squad finished the year with a 7-4 record. Though Jones will likely play linebacker for the Hoosiers, he played a lot on the offensive side of the ball this year. His 15 touchdowns were among the tops for his team.

Jaylin Williams- Williams, a candidate for Mr. Football in TN, had his season come to an end at the hands of White Station. Germantown finishing with a record of 11-1, the season was a major success otherwise. The DB is seen as someone who could see early minutes next year for Coach Allen.

Nick Marozas- The OT for Brother Rice(IL) didn't have any stats available, but his team had a 2-7 record. Marozas's season is over, but he is a very talented kid with an exceptional physique.

Matt Bjorson- Bjorson, from Hinsdale Central(IL), finished the year with a couple touchdowns, but mainly didn't have a big impact on the field from the TE position which is common. Hinsdale finished their season with a 9-3 record.

T.J Ivy- As mentioned previously, Ivy from Marist(IL) had his season end at the hands of Loyola Academy to finish 11-1. He did have 7 touchdowns as a TE this year. The onetime WVU commit, will sign when his other teammates do.

Elijah Rodgers- The DB from Blacksburg(SC) doesn't have any stats available, but his team finished 8-6. Rodgers has talked to the IU staff about signing early, but nothing is set quite yet.

Jordan Jusevitch- Jusevitch has led an amazing career heading into the state championship against Bishop Dwenger of Fort Wayne. He has led Lowell(IN) for years and nothing has changed this year as he is a candidate for Mr. Football in Indiana. Playing as a safety and seemingly everywhere on the offensive side of the ball, has led him to 995 all purpose yards as well 99 tackles and 6 picks to total a career number of 18. He has also gotten to the quarterback for 3 sacks.

Jacolby Hewitt- The TN native, Hewitt plays for the Cordova squad that finished the year 8-3. Hewitt made some big plays from the receiver position led to 15 touchdowns and 1,070 yards.

Charles Campbell- Coming from the University of Jackson(TN), Campbell was a steady presence from the kicker position this year. He also played the role of his teams punter and was their kickoff guy. They finished the year at 7-5, but Campbell, who is a finalist for the best kicker award in TN made 34-37 FGA.

Micah McFadden- The linebacker from Florida led his Plant HS team with an absurd number of tackles with 157. Even crazier is he had 36 TFL. That is not a typo. McFadden had 6 sacks as well and looks to add to those totals as his team(8-4) takes on Viera.

Shamar Jones- Jones, one of the newest Hoosiers led his Greater Johnstown(PA) to a 8-4 record this year. As a defensive tackle, Jones had 83 tackles to go with 2 sacks. To give an idea of his athletic ability, Shamar had an INT as well, in which he returned it for 85 yards.
