Former IUFB Safety Tony Fields is Invited to Mini Camp with the Jacksonville Jaguars

Early this morning Tony Fields earned himself an invitation to the Jaguars rookie mini-camp. Tony Fields was a beast during his tenure with the Hoosiers in Bloomington. Throughout his productive career at Indiana, Tony Fields proved he’s capable of making big plays in the passing game and stepping up to make tackles in the running game. Fields made an impact immediately for the Hoosiers. As a true freshman, he saw action in all 12 games and recorded 14 tackles. During Fields’ sophomore year he played in 13 games and recorded 19 tackles. His most memorable moment of the season was the first interception of his career. He ran it back 20 yards for a touchdown.

He’s succeeded at every level despite his size, and Wynn has no plans of giving up his dream to sustain himself as a professional football player. Wynn’s speed and elusiveness are obviously his biggest assets. He posted a 4.29-second 40-yard dash at Indiana’s pro day. As the saying goes, “you can’t teach speed.”
