Kenny Mullen and Marcus Oliver Likely Out for the Season

The Hoosiers received some bad news Monday as head coach Kevin Wilson announced that senior defensive back Kenny Mullen and sophomore linebacker Marcus Oliver would likely miss the remainder of the year with knee injuries that will require surgery.
Mullen, a standout on special teams, has three tackles on the year and had played in all of the Hoosiers first three games. His loss will not only be felt on the field, but in the locker room as well.
Oliver, also appeared in all three games to begin the season, had 10 tackles in his sophomore campaign following a very solid freshman year.
The Hoosiers will certainly miss both of these players as they added depth and talent on the defensive and special teams units. Coach Kevin Wilson did hint that both players should be eligible for a medical redshirt season.
