Isaac Griffith is in a medically induced coma in Florida after a swimming accident

It was reported last night that Indiana Hoosier football player Isaac Griffith is in the ICU in Florida after a swimming accident.  Griffith's father Shannon has been tweeting updates on his son after flying down last night.  

My wife, Kim, and I have been at Isaac's bedside since 2 AM we are encouraged with his progress in ICU but we have small battles to face and

Mr. Griffith also tweeted that his vitals are stable, however he is still in a medically induced coma to help his lungs heal.

Isaac Griffith, a wide receiver, was a part of the highest rated recruiting class in IU history.  The Ft. Wayne native redshirted in 2013 and was looking to see more of the field in 2014.  We wish Isaac the best and a speedy recovery.  We will update the situation as it develops.
