The Indiana Hoosiers have a busy spring that has included 15 practices, hitting the road for recruiting, and scheduling non-conference games. On Thursday Indiana Football announced a new three game series with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Hilltoppers had this to say about the upcoming series. "Adding Indiana to our future football schedules continues a trend of adding quality, regional opponents from the Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences," said WKU athletics director Todd Stewart. "We will host a Big Ten opponent on our campus in 2021, while the pair of away games is an easy drive for our fans. It is an excellent opportunity for the Hilltopper Nation to fill our stadium, but then also go to another venue to support our program on the road." The Hoosiers will host the Hilltoppers in 2019 (September 19th) and 2020 (September 17th) before heading down to Bowling Green, KY for the final game on the series September 25, 2021. Indiana is 2-0 all time against Western Kentucky beating the Hilltoppers 31-13 at Memorial Stadium and 38-21 in 2010 when the Hoosiers traveled to Bowling Green, KY. The Hoosiers and Hilltoppers play this year at Memorial Stadium on September 19th.
