BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana's 104th Homecoming game against Nebraska on Saturday, Oct. 15, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, IU Athletics and the Big Ten announced today. The Hoosiers Oct. 22 road contest against Northwestern is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT/noon ET start. Television designations will be made on a six- or 12-day basis.

IU will meet the Cornhuskers for the first time since Nebraska joined the Big Ten and the first time since hosting them in 1978.

Earlier this week, it was announced Indiana's Big Ten opener against Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 1, will air on BTN in primetime at Memorial Stadium. The game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET.

En route to its New Era Pinstripe Bowl appearance last season, IU finished first in total offense, passing offense and scoring offense, while placing second in rushing offense in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers became the first team since Ohio State in 1995 to lead the league in total, passing and scoring offense.

Indiana led the Big Ten in scoring offense for the first time since the league began using the entire season as the statistical champion in 1985. IU had not led the league in total offense since 1988.

The Hoosiers became the fourth college football team to have a 3,500-yard passer, a pair of 1,000-yard running backs and a 1,000-yard receiver in the same year. Indiana was also one of only two Power Five conference teams with two 1,000-yard running backs (Baylor).

IU kicks off its seven-game home schedule against Ball State on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Hoosiers also host Wake Forest (Sept. 24), the Spartans, the Cornhuskers, Maryland (Oct. 29), Penn State (Nov. 12) and Purdue (Nov. 26).
