Indiana Adds Athlete Anthony Miller to 2023 Class

The Indiana Hoosiers have continued to actively pursue adding talent to the 2023 roster. One of the players they have zeroed in on as a top remaining target for this class is Georgia athlete Anthony Miller Jr. The high school senior from Duluth, Georgia, is 6’5” and labeled as a tight end on 247Sports.

He’s a three-star prospect that chose Indiana over offers from Coastal Carolina, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and others. At Duluth High School, he was a two-way player that played tight end and defensive end and it’s very possible the Hoosiers end up moving him to the Bull position on the defensive line. It is difficult to find players that have the athleticism and speed to play that position adequately and Miller appears to have those attributes. He could also stick at tight end and be a versatile weapon on the offensive side of the ball.

His highlight film from high school shows him in the slot, lined up attached to the offensive line and used as an upback on offense so he’s very capable of helping Indiana on either side of the ball. Miller visited Indiana this past weekend and committed to the Hoosiers on Monday afternoon. IU is hoping to add a few more players during the “third phase” of the recruiting cycle which ends this week.

Hoosier Huddle will have continuing coverage of the 2023 recruiting class as the Hoosiers try to build a roster capable of returning to the postseason.
