Hoosiers Sign Desirrio Riles to the 2023 Class

The Hoosiers added to their 2023 recruiting class on Wednesday, National Signing Day, as Florida athlete Desirrio Riles signed with the Hoosiers. Riles is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports and rated as 153rd best prospect in Florida.

Riles, out of University Christian High School in Jacksonville, chose Indiana over offers from South Florida and East Carolina. He also held offers from Boston College and Michigan from the Power Five. He is listed at 6’3” and 225 pounds and will likely play the Bull position at Indiana.

His scouting report on 247 Sports reads:

“Multi-sport athlete that also plays basketball. Averaged 11.2 ppg, 5.8 rbg and 3.1 apg as a junior for a University Christian program that made Florida’s 2A playoffs.

2021: Starting QB for the third-straight season at University Christian. Also got some snaps on defense. Appeared in 8 games missing a few due to injury. Rushed for 613 yards and 9 TD while averaging 5.4 ypc. Also passed for 556 yards and 5 more scores. Defensively, credited with 31 tackles, a sack an a FR.

2020: Florida Times-Union All First-Coast honorable mention. Led University Christian to an 8-5 record and appearance in Florida's 2A state title game.”

Riles joins a signing class that is 31 players in size and sits at 8th in the Big Ten when you include the transfer class.
