The Indiana Hoosiers secured a commitment from Venson Sneed, a three-star defensive lineman from Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida. Sneed was a Tennessee commit prior to landing with the Hoosiers.

Sneed is listed at six-foot-four and 240 pounds. He is a well rounded athlete as he played on the basketball team and was a member of the weightlifting team. He also played both offense and defense on the football team. Sneed made 28 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and three sacks in eight games as a senior according to MaxPreps.com.

In a January 2021 article in the Orlando Sentinel Sneed described his abilities. The“best things about my game, I believe, are my strength and then I just make a big factor in the game because, wherever I go, the ball always has to run away from me,” Sneed said. “Because if not, I’m gonna stop the ball.” Sneed said.

IU is recruiting Sneed to be a strong side defensive end. He is IU’s 15th high school commitment in the class of 2022.
