The Indiana Hoosiers have plenty to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving as they sit at 7-4 (4-4) and await a bowl placement, but a late afternoon commitment from three-star defensive tackle Damarjhe Lewis, a one-time Auburn commit. Lewis is rated as a three-star prospect (86.68) by 247 Sports and is the 15th commitment in Indiana’s 2020 recruiting class.

Lewis is an important commitment for the Hoosiers as they need to beef up their defensive line. At six-foot-one and 301 pounds, Lewis can play IU’s three-technique, the lineman who lines up on the outside shoulder of the guard, and may even be able to play the nose tackle position. He’s athletic and fits the type of defensive lineman that makes SEC defenses so good. He can give the Hoosiers the pass rush up the middle they have been missing.
