Indiana head coach Tom Allen stated he wanted to reinforce the offensive line through the transfer portal this spring and summer. The Hoosiers received a commitment from former TCU offensive lineman Noah Bolticoff on Wednesday evening. Bolticoff is a 6’5” 306 pound redshirt freshman who should have three more years of eligibility left.

He played in seven games over two seasons with the Horned Frogs and the final five games of the 2022 season including both the College Football Playoff games. Bolticoff was also a standout academically as he earned 2022 Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 and was a 2021-22 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team selection.

Coming out of high school Bolticoff was the best offensive guard in Kansas and the number three player in the state. 247Sports national scouting analyst Gabe Brooks gave a scouting report on Bolticoff coming out of Rose Hill High School in Rose Hill, Kansas.

Big-framed offensive line prospect with the playing experience and build that project to tackle. Possesses frame space to get to desired mass in college strength and conditioning program. Sets with good, wide base in pass pro. Shows encouraging hand placement as a pass blocker. Gets to the second level in the run game with relative ease. Quick off the ball. Can improve initial punch power at the point of attack. More of a catcher than a puncher at this point. Finishes blocks when opportunity arises, but will need to build overall strength, particularly in lower body, to continue development as a drive-blocker in the run game. Power 5-caliber offensive line prospect with tackle build, but potential to provide position versatility.

Bolticoff was a three sport athlete in high school as well as he lettered in football, basketball as well as track and field.
