Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. There’s great food, family gatherings and football on TV. We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but before we dig into our meals and take a nap we wanted to share some of our own Thanksgiving traditions.

Favorite Tradition: My favorite tradition would have to be just seeing a side of the family that I do not see as frequently. Thanksgiving is one of the few times we're all in the same place at the same time, so I cherish every second of it.

Favorite Food: As weird as it sounds, my favorite Thanksgiving food has to be my Aunt's 12 layer Jello that she makes. Thanksgiving is the only time I have it all year and I'm excited for it every time.

Thing I'm Thankful For: I'm thankful for my friends and family this year. It's my senior year of college and I'll be moving away from them soon (despite my denial of the whole "graduation" subject), so I am soaking in every moment I get to spend with them.

Favorite Tradition- My last living grandparent is the best cook I know. Every year, my family heads to a tiny town called Clay City, Indiana. My Grandma makes the same thing she does for most dinners we have as a big family: turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade noodles, homemade rolls and vegetables of some sort. There is other food but most of us don't care about anything other than the potatoes, noodles and rolls! Getting to enjoy that meal every year, and now adding my wife and kids to the mix and seeing them enjoy my Grandma's amazing cooking and hospitality (she is the definition of "servant" and good host) and playing board games together is undoubtedly the best part of Thanksgiving.

Favorite Food - Grandma's homemade noodles and mashed potatoes

Thankful for - my loving family, our home and my amazing parents. I am also thankful for the Hoosier Huddle staff that makes college football season even more enjoyable and fun for me. The camaraderie we share over IU football is something I am very thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers and thanks for your support!

Favorite Tradition- Thanksgiving in my family is tricky as my family lives in New York City and my fiancee’s family lives in Indianapolis. Usually I’ll fly to New York for a few days and fly back on Friday to spend Thanksgiving with my future in-laws. However, this year I could not make it back to New York so I will be missing out on a rib roast. My favorite tradition is watching the parade on TV then settling in for a day of food and football.

Favorite Food- There is so much to choose from here, but my number one favorite Thanksgiving food is mashed potatoes with gravy. They’re delicious and go well with anything.

Thankful for- I am thankful for my family and my fiancee Sarah who puts up with all my craziness. I am also thankful for my Hoosier Huddle family, every week is an adventure and emotional roller coaster and they make it enjoyable. The site could not function with out them. Finally, I am Thankful to have a roof over my head, people who care about me, two spoiled dogs and meaningful football in November.
