Daeh McCullough, the gem of IU’s 2023 recruiting class, de-committed from the Hoosiers on Thursday morning. The move is not a total surprise as his father Deland McCullough left his coaching position at IU earlier this year. Daeh recently transferred to St. Joseph’s in South Bend, Indiana since his father took the running backs coaching job at Notre Dame.

Daeh McCullough is a safety prospect who was rated as a four-star prospect and was set to be the third McCullough brother to suit up for IU.

This leaves IU’s 2023 class with two commitments and a rating of 62nd nationally.

The Hoosiers open their 2022 season at home on September 2nd against Illinois.
