Kevin Wilson’s Hoosiers have achieved tremendous academic success during his four seasons as head coach. That run of success has continued as fifty-five Hoosiers earned a 3.0 grade point average in the fall and 48 players now own a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

Academic All-Big Ten honors were handed out in December and the Hoosiers had twenty-one football student-athletes earn a spot on the list. It marked a program record fourth straight season that at least 20 Hoosiers have received the recognition. Student-athletes must be in at least their second straight academic year at their institution and carry a GPA of 3.0 or better to be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection.

The honorees are as follows: Jacob Bailey, Andre Booker, Nate Boudreau, Michael Cooper, Anthony Corsaro, Steven Funderburk, Brandon Grubbe, Shawn Heffern, Michael Hunter, Arthur Jones, David Kaminski, Kyle Kennedy, Max Matthews, Nick Mangieri, Griffin Oakes, Mark Murphy, Mike Replogle, Jake Reed, Nick Stoner, Nate Sudfeld and Erich Toth.
