The Hoosiers have added an FCS All-American cornerback to their defense in transfer Cedarius Doss who played last season at Austin Peay. The Hoosiers were looking to add to the cornerbacks room after an exodus following Tom Allen’s firing.

Doss played in 21 games over three seasons with the Governors and made quite the impact both in 2022 and last season in 2023. Last season Doss earned PFF First-Team All-American honors at the FCS level by making 35 tackles, three interecptions and 10 passes defensed. He returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown.

In three games against FBS opponents (Alabama, Tennessee and Western Kentucky) over the last two seasons Doss made 12 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. While it is a small sample size, he can perform at the top level.

Doss projects as a nickel corner at 5’8” and 176 pounds and is an honor roll student.
