While we found out that we have to wait a couple more hours for Hoosier football to begin on September 5th we still are moving onto Day 83 of our Countdown to Kickoff. Today’s profile features freshman tight end Austin Dorris #83

Name: Austin Dorris

HT/WT: 6’5, 225 lbs.

Position: Tight End

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Shadyside, OH

Career Highlights:

Dorris signed with the Hoosiers in February and had an outstanding senior season playing quarterback at Shadyside. He was named to the All-Ohio Division VII team for his efforts accounting for 2,400 total yards and 31 TDs.

2015 Outlook:

Dorris will likely redshirt in 2015 as the Hoosiers have some depth at the tight end position, but should have a promising career with the Hoosiers.
