There is officially less than a week until the start of the Hoosier football season. The HoosierHuddle.com Countdown to Kickoff is now at just six days. For today's countdown let's take a look at wide receiver Camion Patrick and linebacker Zeke Walker.

Camion Patrick

  • Ht/Wt: 6-2/ 210 lbs.
  • Position: Wide Receiver
  • Year: RS Sophomore
  • Hometown: Knoxville, Tn (East Mississippi C.C.)

Patrick had been practicing with the Hoosiers since the beginning of August before being ruled ineligible for the 2015 season. Patrick was a standout wide receiver at East Mississippi Community College, where he reached the end zone in every game last season. He caught 42 balls for 631 yards and 12 scores. He was figuring to play a prominent role in upgrading the Hoosiers' receiving corps. He will be able to play the 2016 and '17 seasons in Bloomington after sitting out this year due to academics.

Zeke Walker

  • Ht/Wt: 6-2/220lbs.
  • Position: Linebacker
  • Year: RS Freshman
  • Hometown: Columbia, S.C. (Brookland-Cayce)

Walker was a three-sport stand out at Brookland-Cayce where he lettered in football, basketball, and track and field. He earned all-region honors as a defensive back and played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas after his senior season in 2013. In addition, Walker excelled off the field as a scholar-athlete award winner.

Walker began his Hoosier career by red shirting his freshman year. He earned scout team player of the week against Ohio State last season. This year it may be difficult for Walker to crack the two-deep with all the talent and depth IU has at linebacker. However, Waker should see time on a special  teams unit or two.
