#54 Tim Bugg
As the calendar turns and the countdown number is whittled down to just 54 days to kick off, we are going to jump in the Hoosier time machine and take a look back at form IU long snapper Tim Bugg.
Bugg was part of a newly created walk-on program for head coach Gerry Dinardo in 2003 and played in 31 games in his career, starting for three years. He was a key cog on the special teams unit on the 2007 Insight Bowl team. After his Hoosier career ended he was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals on a two-year contract on a rookie free agent deal.
Growing up near Chicago, Bugg idolized Bears great William "The Refrigerator" Perry as a kid. He also credits his father as his biggest influence on and off the field.
