#50

We are halfway through our 100-day countdown! There are now 50 days remaining until the Indiana Hoosiers kick-off the 2016 season in Miami against the Florida International Golden Panthers. Join us each day for each part of our 100-day countdown to the opener! Redshirt Freshman Joshua Brown is the number 50 for the Hoosiers.

Joshua Brown (Redshirt Freshman)

-Height: 6’0”
-Weight: 256 pounds
-Hometown: Hillsborough, New Jersey
-Position: Offensive Line

Joshua Brown walked on to the Hoosier football team in 2015 after being a direct-admit to the outstanding Kelley School of Business, which should tell you what kind of work either this player has. He redshirted his first year on campus.

Brown made his way to IU from the Garden State and Hillsborough High School where he was a first team all-conference and all-state selection, which says a lot since New Jersey high school football is some of the best in the nation. He was a three-year letter winner and football and was a shot put thrower for the track and field team.

It may be extremely difficult for Brown to crack the offensive line rotation in 2016, but that does not diminish his value on the team. Brown provides a quality scout team player that can give looks to the starters during the week. His work ethic should be something all Hoosier players should emulate.

Share any memories or recollections you have of Joshua Brown as a player in the comments section (or on the message boards) and be sure to come back to Hoosier Huddle each day during our countdown!
