Samuel Slusher
Height: 6’0’’

Slusher is an in-state product from Greensburg High School in Greensburg, Indiana where he earned honorable mention all-state, all-region and all-conference selection at linebacker. He posted 93 tackles, nine TFLs and four sacks during his senior season. Slusher played offense and special teams as well. As a running back, he ran the ball 143 times for 1,062 yards with 14 touchdowns while adding 17 receptions for 288 yards and two more touchdowns. On special teams he averaged 20.2 yards per return including a touchdown. He is an exceptional athlete as he set the Greensburg record for the 40-yard dash and pro-agility test. He also played two years of basketball.
Slusher walked on to the Hoosier football program in 2017 and redshirted and earn Scout Team Player of the Week in IU’s 41-0 win over Rutgers. Slusher is a good enough athlete to find his way onto some special teams units. He may not travel with the team during conference games, but at home games you could see Tom Allen reward his efforts with playing time.
