Written by: Zach Greene

Welcome, Hoosiers fans to the 2022 Hoosier Huddle Countdown! We countdown from 100 days to the beginning of the 2022 Indiana University football season on September 2nd against the Fighting Illini. Every day, we look at players on the current roster and highlight the players' roles in the upcoming season. Today we dive into one of the top transfers this program picked up WR Andison Coby.

Name: Andison Coby

Hometown: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position: Wide Reciever

Year: Junior

Height/Weight: 6-2/ 175

Coby spent his 2020 season in Juco at Northeast Mississippi Community College catching 24 passes for 422 yards and seven touchdowns. After an outstanding season, he received interest from multiple power 5 schools and decided to go to the University of Tennessee. Last season, he played in five games only catching one pass. After the opportunity opened itself, he decided to transfer to IU and is expected to get playing time this season.

Out of high school, Coby was not heavily recruited which is why he decided to go the Juco route. It worked out in his favor,

He bet on himself even though this was the third program in four years. Head Coach Tom Allen has liked what he has seen from the wideout.

Expect to hear Coby’s name called upon this season. He is behind a loaded wide receiver unit but the opportunity to play is upon him.
