2021 Countdown to Kickoff: 39 Days Part II (Patrick Finley)

The 2021 Countdown! Only 39 days left until the Hoosiers travel to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Today we will profile Ryan Barnes and Patrick Finley.

Fort Wayne, Ind.

6’0”/ 188 pounds

Finley is a relatively new face to the Hoosiers program. The cornerback joined the team as a walk-on before last season, however he did not receive any playing time.

Before college, Finley was made all-state at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Ind.  He was also named the Euwell Wilson Player of the Year.

Finley has potential, but it will be tough for him to break into the rotation for the Hoosiers’ elite secondary. Taiwan Mullen, Jaylin Williams, and Taylor Reese will man down the rotation. But, Finley could be someone to watch for in the future.
