If I had a nickel for every time I was laid off, made redundant, let go or company closed...I'd have quite a few nickels. I once had my position advertised in the Sunday Star classifieds in the late 90's while I still held it (had a fun conversation with my DM about that one lemme tell ya). Heh, even had the same crested blue blazered security outfit show up to two different companies in 5 years. The second time I was in the underwriter's bullpen when they walked in, and I told everyone "oh shit, they're closing us down boys and girls". Nobody believed me, but several parent company executives walked right into my boss's office and closed the door while the two blue blazered guys posted up outside his office. Half an hour later they came out, made the announcement and had severance agreements, paid third party retraining info and skeleton crew schedules for the next 45 days.
That gal's psyche would've been broken 10 times over on my career path. She'd need a helluva lot more than her "emotional support SBX drink".

Criminals are now released on minimal or even no bail. There are no consequences.
Society should have standards. We had them. Now they’re seen as something from “olden times.”
How about all of these immigrant semi drivers who can’t speak or read English? People have died from their horrible accidents. Think those who have perpetrated this fraud - test takers and companies hiring these freaks - will pay a price?
