They are yanking mine on Thursday. Haven’t had surgery since my tonsils at 6 years old. They won’t know until they get in if they can do it laparoscopy. What’s recovery like? I only get the good drugs for a few days.
Good luck. Never had it. My dad did fine decades ago. Few days mild recovery.
In a round about way, yes. 4 yrs ago I had ~18" of my descending colon removed. Like HH said, few days mild recovery. Also 3 weeks ago my 76 yrs old mother had the same procedure and she agreed. Few days mild.
Morally Flexible. Kinda.
So, now you both have a semicolon. In a round about way, yes. 4 yrs ago I had ~18" of my descending colon removed. Like HH said, few days mild recovery. Also 3 weeks ago my 76 yrs old mother had the same procedure and she agreed. Few days mild.
I'm here all week, try the veal.

You will be fine, especially if they can do it laparoscopically. I had it done laparoscopically and my recovery was easy. I got 4 small incisions of 2-4 stitches each that healed up fast. I think one cut for a camera, two for tools, and one for a gas tube, since they put in some nitrogen to inflate the area.
I felt fine in under 24 hrs. They gave me oxycodone which I only took once. The nitrogen they used caused some pain from the gas bubbles being slow to dissipate, weirdly, some shoulder pain that I was told to walk off in the first 2 days. I took 2 weeks off work, but that was overkill. I was on a 10 pound "lift restriction" for 4 weeks, but even that was overkill/ precautionary.
