nobody disputes that global inflation and US inflation was out of control during the pandemic.
By a year ago it was below 3%, though. Now it's roughly the same, despite assurances of prices coming down from dear leader. Cheaper eggs, sure, from bird flu containment, or else overall food prices would be on a worse climb than a year ago (and they are way worse for meats, bread, dairy, coffee, etc.).
