Since literally nobody here ever posts in favor of "open borders, defund, minor mutilations, disenfranchising voters, and socialism", there is no compelling reason to rail against those things, though I have from time to time.

Went to the grocery store yesterday and took a hard pass on the $30/lb steaks, $11 per half gallon Blue Bell ice cream, $4 bread, $13 coffee (and not even premium brands). Picked up flour, sugar, and eggs to make bread. Picked up the off brand coffee that was buy one/get one. Took note in the checkout that candy bars are now over $3. Never noticed, since I stopped buying candy years ago, but product all around pricing is out of control and part of it is the tariff insanity.
Eggs were cheap though, since I guess Trump stamped out bird flu in his lab. dbm can find some twitter twits to confirm...

@boogie What has he done poorly? And explain it in comparison to what he was left. The biggest issue he had was making unrealistic promises regarding prices. He's tempered inflation, and deserves credit for it, but Biden left a consumer market of historic prices that are going to be difficult to bring down. Getting oil. Lowering gas will help.
@shooter The consequences of Bidenomics will be with us forever. Trump trying to get more oil and reduce logistics, shipping, etc. with gas will help on prices. Otherwise there isn't a lot that can be done. This is yet another legacy of the left.

Damn near everything has risen in prices. He overplayed tariffs and its hurt people.
People are worried about health care now. He's responsible for that. What's the Pubs health care plan again, give people money so they can go out and buy their own? Congrats, a family of four will have 1-2 months of their premiums paid for. After that, good luck.
