If a government released the names of those accused, or of those in the plane, or of those on the island, we’d increase the national debt by $T’s just to pay the damage claims. If the government has the goods to bring indictments, it should do so, otherwise this “list” business is finished.

Yes, but those flight logs are not really the same thing as "Epstein's List." There are a myriad of reasons someone may have flown on Epstein's plane. But, to the general public, and more so the lunatic fringes, there is only one reason someone's name would appear on Epstein's List.
I don't believe an "Epstein's List" ever existed. I tried to find the origin of that and the earliest mentions of it were on a wingnut site then it spread to people like Alex Jones and other conspiracy theorists regularly viewed by wingnuts and then was spread by MAGA wingnuts on social media. The last release of documents really had nothing in them that wasn't already known due to the Maxwell trial. This final batch probably has nothing more, plus porno videos.

I have no idea if every person that flew on the plane is listed, but it's a long log with names like Trump, Clinton and other big wigs on it. There was no testimony in Maxwell's trial that Trump and Clinton were involved in any of the criminal pedo behavior.

No there isn't and I have said that. I don't really think Bondi and Patel are covering for the President. I've just put that out there as an example of unsupported speculation that has been out there from the beginning of the Epstein saga. The President only added some smoke when he claimed that he was never on Epstein's plane at all when the logs show he flew seven times on it. No reason to lie when the logs and testimony don't show that he was ever on the island. I chalk it up to his habit of lying even when there is no reason to lie.

There was never going to be the release of a list. I think he underestimated the number of people who have dug in on the subject though.

I've more or less resigned myself to the fact that outside of Esptein and Maxwell, no one is actually going to be held accountable here. The Trump administration is quick to want to sweep this under the rug, but I'm not convinced any administration's DOJ wouldn't want to move on from this just as quickly.
I do think that this AG is a special kind of stupid though. I wish someone would hold her feet to the fire and ask her about what was on her desk in February, but no one will.

Bondi’s answer that the list referenced by the questioner was sitting on her desk was careless and sloppy. I’m not sure about irresponsible. She shudda said that she will need to review the material and then move on. I think the whole idea of a list is a media creation. I don’t recall any official saying they have seen one.
