@socks-shorts-1-2-3-swish I believe your account is accurate.  Not to condone obviously but the lens back then was a little different.  Hollywood stories on and on.  Epstein was indicted.  I have a very hard time believing that if there was actual evidence against Trump he wouldn't have been indicted in PBC as well.  One of THE top lawyers in teh country was gathering evidence to file civil actions.  It's not like it was a secret.  And it's not like that lawyer was afraid of Trump or anyone else.  These were the same guys who took on big tobacco

Then why is he covering for pedos now? At best he is turning a blind eye while others in his administration clearly are covering for people.

Did you see what Massie said today? At least six prominent men implicated in the unredacted files he read who have been scrubbed in the public release. He's threatening to name them on the floor if DOJ doesn't unredact their names.

I started following him on Twitter to keep up. He sort of clarified that threat as an attempt to force the DOJ to release everything like they are legally obligated to do. No such luck. I disagree with Massie a good majority of times but I'm lock step with him on this. Our democracy and country will be fine. Some politicians, celebrities and CEOs will go to prison. Good.

Now the DOJ is claiming that they received the redacted files from the FBI? Wouldn't that highly illegal? Also clearly a lie. Or at least partly.

More lies.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick acknowledges meetings with Epstein that contradict previous claims | AP News

That guy is a fuck. My favorite part is when he said he barely knew Epstein. His neighbor. And that he only went to the island for "family" vacation. LMAO! Fry that creep...

Trump is on the horns of a dilemma.  Maxwell's lawyer says Maxwell will clear Trump of any wrongdoing in exchange for clemency.  Despite Maxwell's obvious credibility issues, that deal would allow Trump to take a victory lap and claim "total exoneration."  On the other hand, giving any kind of a break to this POS (Maxwell) could be disastrous politically.  Should be interesting.

That is not a tough choice for Trump.  He will do anything to make himself look good and doesn't give a crap about political fallout.  I suppose that he could delay her clemency until after the midterms, but it will happen at some point.  He's already set her up in a boutique white collar criminal facility that no other abuser of children would EVER have been assigned to, because they are old buddies.

@mrhighlife Look at GOAT’s reply to DBM above. That’s what you face. Not to mention stale shit. Spoliation.  And many of the victims were represented by one of THE best lawyers in America.  Not tv time I want CNN to interview BS lawyers. The real deal.   Are they going to cooperate?  Can they cooperate?  They took money so I doubt it.

My point is that I don’t disagree with you.  It should have been done in 05 to 2010.  Now it’s hard on so many levels.  And who knows.  I’m not a conspiracy guy, I don’t believe the election was stolen or any of that, but I do believe something funny went down in Epstein’s cell.  I don’t for a second believe it was just a coincidence.  Maybe he has a new face and lives in Israel or on a yacht.

Gross from start to finish

The victims took millions for their silence. That was their decision

@spartans9312 And I would have too.  Go through some miserable criminal trial, get called as a witness, get dragged through the mud as a little whore or dumbshit or all the rest.  Take the money and turn it into something okay for yourself.  At least Epstein got offed or if is alive somewhere publicly shamed.  Like @mrhighlife I do hope his coconspirators get theirs too

I’m not sure I’ve ever wanted anything in my whole life as badly as you want Trump to be a pedo.

It is still pretty funny that some of you think that the Biden admin wouldn’t have locked him up at the first shred of actionable evidence, but keep your dreams alive dude.🤣

And 500 years ago, that would have precluded criminal charges. But not today. The whole "I don't want to press charges" trope is a Hollywood invention.

@goat pressing charges isn't the issue.  THat's the state's case.  Always.  The issue is when you don't have cooperative victims.  Prosecutors like cases they can win.

By putting Wexner’s name out there in that way Khanna has implied he was involved in sex crimes. What I’ve read is that the U.S. Attorney investigating Epstein in Florida wanted Wexner to be a witness to testify against Epstein. Not that he was involved

I know, I know. And forcing the victim of a sex crime to testify, perhaps even treating her as a hostile witness, that doesn't bode well for a prosecutor's future political career.

But, California prosecutors are still to this day telling Samantha Geimer they don't care what she thinks. So, there's that.
