Winning the House is essential to neuter the Trump Admin as much as possible. Repub control of the Senate would be fine too to neuter the Dems as much as possible. Then keep Congress neutered until one party gets real about economic policy, pocketbook issues, the debt, military spending, incessant warring and social issues (both sides go to extremes though Dems far more).

Yes, Trump has said he'll donate anything he gets to charity, but we know how that will go.  His charitable foundation was shut down because he was stealing from it.

All of his biggest grifting schemes are initially reported, but then met with a collective shrug. I wish someone would pull on one of these threads and expose him and his family.

I was listening to Jon Lonsdale today and he said they found around 160 billion in grift that was mostly just NGOs funneling money to different Democrat orgs and initiatives.  Not surprisingly they couldn't get one Democrat to vote for turning it off.  Considering Trump's NGO is about 1/100 of that and he will actually give it away to people I like, you're right I don't give a sh#t.  Now, I would love to vote for a Democrat who ran on slashing government fraud and waste.  Let me know when one runs on that.

@unclemark no one cares.  they assume all government is shit and politicians crooked. the radical lefty legacy media gets a hard on.  a few with trump derangement syndrome.  normals don't give a shit.  this doesn't move the meter.  $5 at the gas pump will do him.  and people ask well what does the other candidate want.  and how will what they want impact me. and between dems and pubs is the other candidate a mask wearing booster watching for hantavirus updates ready to lockdown while marching on behalf of blm, no kings, and free palestine?  trump and his crew of incompetents still look preferable.  or is it old stuffy white guys who look like warren buffet and haven't a clue about how to talk to joe bag of donuts.

the bleating in this thread is hard to watch.  nothing happens in isolation.  what are the other choices.  if you leave that out you're just bleating. see snarl's post above as well.  that's americans

we need better politicians.  vote trump out vote aoc in. she sends ten times that amount to minny that gets funneled to somalis.  it's all the same dance

Nobody is cutting anything or getting real with the budget.  Trump lowered deficit spending in 25 and may have pissed off everyone. People like @bar-down hated him for raising taxes and people like @ohio-guy hated him for making cuts with DOGE.

@snarlcakes well that's right son.  i presuppose they're all crooked and self-serving so i vote based on 1) who will keep me and my family safe and 2) cost me the least money and 3) leave my businesses alone (shutdowns/regs/tariffs, etc).  That's it.

I don't blame you.  Everyone is self serving, including myself.  The answer is the smallest possible Federal Government (that ship has sailed), which only leaves one solution..............that beautiful Bitcoin.

@big-ryan vote for what?

Anyone who will stand up to Trump. I'd vote for Massie, Bobo, and MTG today if I could.

The bar has never been lower than it is now.

I'd go for sane, reasonable, respect for democratic norms, and under 70.

the bleating in this thread is hard to watch.

Yes it is. The contortions people are going through to justify this $1.8B fraud against the American people are sickening.

LMAO.  Who's "Jon Lonsdale?" Who are "they?" Where's the reporting on this? Provide links.

Nothing but crickets from MAGA or "I don't care" (which likely translates to "I can't defend it") regarding Trump's secretive $1.7 billion political slush fund that will monetarily reward pieces of shit.

justify

justify?  of course not.  it's garbage.  but we've spent the spring learning about learing centers.  we've watched pelosi kush and so many others profit from gov, be dogshit stewards of our money, that we've become numb to it.  justify doesn't mean that.
