@mrhighlife Anyone who argues that apex political corruption isn't disastrous for the society where it's occurring has no idea what they're talking about.
Gas and Oil prices being manipulated higher for his personal gain and service members needlessly killed, also for that personal gain. That doesn't effect you and yours? Luck you....He doesn't have a blind trust like other Presidents he just claims to have turned over control of his businesses to his sons. You honestly don't think he's talking to his sons about these business deals? Change the name of those involved with this corruption to the Biden family and you'd be losing your mind. You lost your mind about far less than this concerning the Biden family. Hypocrisy is a primary MAGA trait and you've got it bad. He's the cleanest man in Washington.
Your community college (drop out?) Twitter Twit certainly knows that his followers are gullible fools.
Anyone who continues to prop up this filthy dirty president is as bad as he is.
Nah, we just love our country & see him as the best way to keep it. I get it, you’re probably one of the have-nots that would rather align with socialists, Muslims, repeat criminals, & the rest of your coalition that wants to replace America with something else. We’re just not being controlled by a hatred for the man. His actions will harm my family much less than any Dem getting elected. His future is more attractive to me than yours. It really is that simple no matter how you want to paint it.
If you truly believe that the breadth and scope of Trump's staggering and unprecedented self-dealing, grifting and corruption is a nothingburger, then you're as morally bankrupt as he is.
"No man who is corrupt, no man who condones corruption in others, can possibly do his duty by the community." -Theodore Roosevelt
I believe his corruption will impact me & mine, as well as the rest of America far less than socialism, mass immigration, fraud of our social assistance, lax criminal justice, unsecured elections, just to name a few off of the top of my head. You think Trump selling a billion dollars worth of bitcoin impacts anyone more than these? I haven’t condoned shit, so your dishonest assessment of my claims is obvious but does speak to your morality & character.
What's much more imminent than socialism is a corrupt strongman regime running the United States, if we're not there already.
Social assistance fraud can be - - and is being - - addressed in state and federal court. Our elections are secure notwithstanding Trump's incessant lies to the contrary. "Election security" proposals are a solution in search of a problem. And don't talk to me about a lax criminal justice system when the guy you're propping up not only pardoned violent offenders including cop-beaters but wanted to fucking PAY them for it, and installed his personal lawyer as head of the Justice Department to do his personal bidding.
What effect does the current “strongman”have on me & mine? Is the fraud being addressed because of Dems? California is passing laws making it illegal for citizens to investigate fraud. You think Tim Walz would be leading the charge on fraud if left to his own devices? You talking about Trump’s number of pardons is stepping over millions to pick up a nickel on a national level. Our elections are not secure, if you want to argue whether the impact is enough so be it, but asking for proof of something that can’t be proven will always support your argument. If no one has broken into my house, that doesn’t mean it’s secure, just means it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe it never would, I’m not willing to find out…
Could you imagine him defending this level of corruption if a dem was president? (and he shouldn't). The level of hypocrisy is astounding in order to defend someone simply because of their party affiliation.
Read an essay recently with this excerpt:
"There are no principles in this administration beyond the principle of making money. There are no values that can’t be counted in dollars. We have a president who does commercial breaks - in his own public speeches - for corporations that make him money. He loves insider trading, and engages in it based on decisions he makes as president.
"Are we Rome after the empire has fallen? Would we even know it if we were? Many Romans didn’t know that at first. Will it take years to recognize our current situation for what it really is?"
