It's my understanding that after a while, the meds make things go further downhill, like cognitive decline and actually making the pain worse.

He's been charged with DUI (drugs), but they have no hard evidence. He'll get slapped around a little bit, but nothing he won't be able to skate through with his resources. If he's going to get his shit together, it will have to be an inside job.
